Since my point of view, to read something enrich us, not only because from there we learn something new, and maybe from a movie happen the same, however when both contain the same information (characteres, theme, etcetera) of course it´s easier watch a movie than read a book. What is the difference? I concider that in this case Beowulf´s movie omit some important Aparts and also it makes us get confused, and if we read the original version of the poem could happen the same. We need the context ´bout the story (a general idea); due to the kind of vocabulary that contain, the real meaning of that and also of our interpretation. Perhaps a good idea could be read and watch the movie for two reason. firstly because we can understand in a better way the poem because it is a treasure. secondly we can realize how other people interpret the poem and how we interpret. Of course the writing poem is the best.
