Literary Forms
POETRY:
In poetry, how the words look and sounds is as important as what they say. A poem is organized in lines and groups of lines called stanzas. Usually, the arrangement of heavy and light beats in each line follows a pattern. In many poems, lines end in rhytming words. Here is an example of a rhyming poem:
Red sky at night,
Sailors' delight.
Red in the morning,
Sailors take warning.
